Help the Swedish translator

I recently wrote about the upcoming translation into Swedish of Illuminatus! and recently got the following note from the translator, Pelle Lindhe, about a passage he's unsure about:

Page 91, Third trip "They are the Knights of Christianity United in Faith" (funny because of KCUF, and easily translated into similar vulgarity in swedish) But then there's a joke I don't get: "Mauls of Lhuv-Kerapht United for the Truth" is there a similar acronym here that I miss?

Beats me...anyone have a suggestion?

MaLKUTh, I suppose? :)

Malkuth sounds right to me too. The tenth sephira on the Tree of Life denoting the material world. Mauls of Lhuv says something else, but not as acronym.

I always deciphered that as Malkuth also. The material world, but not to be thought of as "un-spiritual."

It sounds like a play on the name Lovecraft

Thanks Anonymous, I missed that.

Ah, great, thanks guys, I’ll see if I can work that in somehow. So far I’ve only had to leave one two or three completely impossible translations out, luckily the context doesn’t bear on any of them though. You do tend to get slightly fixated on getting EVERYTHING right though...
