Discordian letterheads

 

Grouchogandhi , KSP posted the above on X.com/Twitter, writing, "Various Discordian letterheads designed by Harold Lord Randomfactor (of ILLUMINATUS! fame) used in Operation Jake, wherein selected politicians received weird letters on weirder letterhead, circa 1970." Harold Lord Randomfactor is Tim Wheeler, see this posting on Adam Gorightly's website. 

My favorite of the four was the Bavarian Illuminati letterhead, so I asked if there is a separate, higher resolution one for people who might want to use it for their own letterheads. I then got the image below!

The origin of the Law of Fives

 

In Illuminatus!, "everything" follows the Law of Fives (if you are ingenious enough). Grouchogandhi, K.S.P. on X continues to post Discordian documents and the above relates to the origin of the Law of Fives.

On X.com, Grouchogandhi, KRP (@Grouchogandhi) continues to post a great many Discoridian documents. Here are some Illuminatus! related documents that recently caught my eye. They are part of the Discordian Archives.

Some Discordian documents

Grouchogandhi, KSP has continued to post Discordian documents on X/Twitter, many of them related to the subject of this blog. Here are some recent ones that caught my eye. Above, a headline from an Andy Borowitz piece, I think from the New Yorker.

A Robert Anton Wilson form letter from 1976.

Robert Anton Wilson's prank letter to to an official in the Christian Crusade about the threat posed by Beethoven. (This refers to the Christian Crusade publications about the Beatles being a Communist threat, referenced in Illuminatus!) When I mentioned the letter had no date, Adam Gorightly commented, "No exact date, but seemed clear to me this was among the OM letters RAW sent out at the time he and Shea were working on Illuminatus. These letters started in '68 and it was kind of a short-lived phase around the same time that the Garrison investigation was in full flight."

The original Sacred Chao

 

Grouchogandhi, K.S.P. continues to post interesting documents from the Discordian Archives on X, and I thought I would share one of them. Here is the caption:
