Aldous Huxley in 1954
Somebunall of you I have noticed are interested in Aldous Huxley, so I thought I would mention there will be an online broadcast tomorrow of an awards show for the Prometheus Awards that will feature two of Huxley's adult grandchildren.
The event is 1 p.m. Sunday, Eastern time, and will feature awards being given to three books: The Prometheus Hall of Fame Award, for Brave New World; a Prometheus Award for A Kiss for Damocles by J. Kenton Pierce, and a Special Award for Young Adult Fiction for Storm-Dragon by Dave Freer.
The various speakers planned tomorrow include two Huxley grandchildren, Tessa and Trev Huxley, and writer-editor Jack Miles, co-trustee of the Aldous and Laura Huxley Literary Estate.

Some disclosures: I am a judge for the Prometheus Awards, hence my interest; Robert Shea used to be involved with the awards, and a Prometheus Hall of Fame Award was given to Illuminatus!, hence possible interest from some of you.
