I interviewed Gary Johnson, the front runner for the Libertarian Party's nomination. As I assume that at least some of RAW's fans are still libertarians and/or might be interested in Johnson's pro civil-liberties, pro-peace stances, I link to it here.
Very good interview, good questions. Of all the people running, Gary Johnson would be my first choice, even though I disagree about medical expenses. And anyone who responds to Johnson that he appeals to "druggies" is either sadly misinformed or ignorant about the issues. Either that or a conceited asshole.
My ideal candidate would endorse most of Johnson's positions but also endorse a minimum income guarantee and a national health insurance system. (I'd get rid of the patchwork of other welfare programs and health care programs). Obviously there is no such person available.
