Bobby Campbell has sent out a newsletter to announce Tales of Illuminatus #3, providing basically the same details I provided yesterday (Kickstarter begins April 23), but also has a bunch of other news.
One of Bobby's announcements is that he's released a free Illuminatus! game, CTHULHUS WAKE.
"An arcane arcade adventure! Nine levels of mini game eldritch action!"
More news if you read the whole thing. You want to know who is "the best cartoonist in the world," don't you?

Thanks Tom! If anyone tries the games out LMK how far you get :)))
Man, this is some proper old school hardcore video game, with pretty serious difficulty! This level 2 where we're told to break the bricks but actually also have to keep bouncing the ball for a while longer? Dick move...
Although the sound can be turned off, it comes back up every time we start a level anew, could be nice to leave it either on or off at all time. (I do find the 8 bit music very retro cool!)
Also, I think the sensitivity is a bit too high sometimes. On level 4 or 5, for exemple, I'm often definitely being killed off before actually touching anything.
Congratulations on creating this game, it's a lot of fun!
Thanks playing along and for the feedback, Spookah! Much appreciated :)))
I'll check the hit boxes on the Swarm level. It's possible when I was adjusting the size of the sprites I didn't change the hit box size.
And I'll look into saving the sound off preference too.
Nothing I can do about having to beat the pyramid on the breakout level though, that's just the way she goes!
