Here is a sentence I liked from Michael Johnson's latest Substack piece, "On the 'Simulation Hypothesis':
“You and I and that wall, that empty bowl of cereal in the sink, the lava lamp, the ‘69 Mets, and Krakatoa, are all just in the mind of God.”
Many people joined me in thinking Michael's latest was mind-expanding, judging from the large number of comments that it drew. And there's some good stuff on Robert Anton Wilson's theory of perception.

I recommend deeply engaging with footnote #8. But be careful! You see I asked the Generalist to write about Chronic City and so he did... and he chose to highlight a central event from the novel where a character is made homeless by a snowstorm and chooses to go live in a dwelling where he is surrounded by and living with dogs. I read his post, having been driven from my home by a snowstorm, staying in a single room with my 3 dogs and surrounded on all sides by folks who were also staying with their dogs.
Ain't that always the way!?
Thanks for the notice, Tom!
