Video for the Chandeliers with RAW clip
The new album by the Chandeliers, mentioned in Sunday's blog post, has been released. Above is a video for one of the songs from Law of Fives, "Snake Bomb", featuring a clip of Robert Anton Wilson.
The band's official website is here, although aspects of the band remain mysterious to me. The band biography describes it as a trio, but the band photo shows four persons. Still no word whether the Chicago band drinks Illuminated Chicago beer.

A work of art I like
I've seen other eye-in-pyramid images before, of course, but I thought this work of art, Tweeted out by Chris Kalis, was particularly beautiful, so I asked about it.
"Its a book cover for ALCHEMY: THE GREAT WORK by Cherry Gilchrist (Weiser Books)," Kalis explained. The artist is Graham Lester.
Kalis, by the way , is an interesting musician, filmmaker and graphic designer whom I follow in Twitter. I like his synth music band, Chandliers. More on the Chandeliers and the band's interest in RAW and Discordianism. Chandeliers are available on Spotify and Freegal Music, among other places.

'Illuminatus' short film screens Oct. 30
A short, animated adaptation of Illuminatus! ten minutes long, will be screened at Film Quest in Provo, Utah, on Oct. 30. Here are details from the guy who made the film, Chris Kalis (of the Chandeliers). Details from Mr. Kalis:
"The festival also has a virtual program and it will also be playing there, so people can buy tickets to view it online during the festival dates.
"The short film is a culmination of about 8 years of work involving over 50 animation student collaborators at DePaul University in Chicago (where I teach animation). It also features voice acting by Alex Cox, Jon Glaser, and Gregg Turkington.
"The full short film is 10 mins long ... it works as a short introduction to the world of Illuminatus!
"I still make music, my band Chandeliers is now focused on an electronic music radio show we do on lumpenradio.com called Chando Radio and I am in an electronic group called Drasii."
More information here, and here is the link to buy tickets.
